Fast-Growing Tech Scaleup Delvinia Appoints New Director of Sales, Maria Popova

International growth of the firm sets the stage for 20 additional new hires this fall.

TORONTO, September 12, 2018 – Data collection firm Delvinia announced that millennial market research specialist Maria Popova (pictured, right) has joined as Director of Sales. She will focus on the company’s automated market research platform, Methodify, eyeing a greater share of the North 

American market. Most recently, Popova was with the youth marketing agency yconic, where as the Director of Market Research Services she pioneered a strategic two-year media partnership with Canada’s largest national daily newspaper and led the development of key recommendations to improve the supply and demand of youth in the technology start-up labour market.

Popova brings this consultative sales approach to Delvinia, identifying customer needs, expanding the capabilities of Methodify and guiding decision-making.

Popova’s appointment comes on the heels of a raft of recent hires, including the new Manager of Data Solutions, Nimesh Kara. Kara (pictured, left) joins from the U.K., bringing international experience collaborating with teams across Asia, North America and Europe and a focus on defining advanced analytics solutions as well as data solutions for the connected home (IoT).
